sorry DAB, but no girl is "asking for it". i believe that they don't really know what they are getting themselves into as far as self image and how they are viewed by other people. they just need their parents to give them more guidance in the right direction.

They have been brought up in a society that teaches them to thrive on the attentions of others, and they attain those attentions by any means necessary.
They are looking for somone to tell them how pretty they are or that they should not doubt their looks. Some are troubled girls who NEED this attention. Others are little drama queens who just thrive on it. They should really think more before they do that...have they no idea that online predators exist? They are asking for it...
You answered your own question. They're Young. When I was their age I was writing love letters to boys. There was no Internet for easier access. Hopefully, they won't learn the hard way not to give out your personal information.
They are insecure. They have no confidence. They want a man to validate them so they falsely feel good about themselves. I feel sorry for these girls, as true confidence comes from within. You should be able to love and validate yourself.
I don't know, although I have had to chase a 45 year old man off of my daughter's site who put himself on there before, NO!! she had nothing sexy on there about her. I keep a close eye on her, I had to threaten to call the local police, and the FBI, his name was SAM, supposedly from Egypt... he could have lived right next door. I think that parents should watch a bit closer what their children are doing on these things. It's NOT a game. The female young'uns ALWAYS want to be older, God only knows why! YES, there is a way that parents can monitor your children..., I did it with my son, anytime his name or password came across the computer, any computer... I got Mail from AOL telling me who , when, and where he was contacting or trying to contact. Maybe it is just an AOL thing. although it is only $30.00 a month for unlimited use [the whole computer online with the monitoring]. And well worth my childrens lives.
