Have you ever been told by a doctor that you were going to die?
And after you had adjusted to that idea, had the same doctor tell you that oops!, no you aren't going to die nearly as soon as thought?
Which was the harest adjustment? Getting ready to die or to live. For me it was getting ready to live that was hardest.
Answer:
Again, Doctors are not perfect. And definitely not always right. Adjustment is difficult, especially in your case. I feel for you and the changes you must have made to adjust, not only once, but twice to life-changing news such as this.
I hope you are enjoying your life now and doing those things you really wanted to do.
Hm...no I never had that happen, fingers crossed my health stays good. But I am afraid of dying, I know other people think on it as well. Providing I do live a long life to old age, I'm still afraid of dying after that. It's not the point of death I fear, it's the state of no longer existing. Once we die we will not know that we ever lived. Isn't that a sobering thought?
no but i would sew if some one told me that
I had a cardiac doctor that stated in no uncertain terms that I was going to die in 6 months or the very longest 5 years If I shaped up my life., With no smoking, no drinking, no, salt, no fat,
no sweets, and a whole lot of other rules. He was quite mean about it.
I looked him in the eye, and told him, he is a specialist and I pay to hear his opinion, but it is my life, and If he thought I was going to give up smoking, give up drinking, give up all that other stuff, and take up religeon to stay alive, He was off his nut, Cause I wasn't going to live that way.
Got a different cardiologist, didn't change my life except the smoking, have lasted 10 years now, I do what I want, Eat what I want, and enjoy life. If I die, that is OK too, Everyone does.
