Would you want to know how much time you have left before you are to pass on?
People diagnosed with terminal illnesses usually suddenly get busy living. Would you given the opportunity like to know how much time you have left on earth?
Answer:
I dont think so. I try to live every day as if it's my last anyhow. I dont know what I'd do if it was a for sure.
depends on how ill you are i've known people that are so ill they couldn't eat or barely move around , if i had the choice i would like to just lie on the sofa on a sunny summer's afternoon and just pass quietly away.....
i don't know. If i knew how i would react, if i knew for certain that this knowledge would let me to love more, to dare and to refuse to accept limits, then i'd like to know. but i'm also not sure if this knowledge would just paralyze me with fear.
well yes so when that time comes i can try to save myself and stuff like that
You're not planning something, are you?
And no. I want to be surprised. Many people diagnosed with terminal illness do the opposite, and get morose and even more depressed.
My dentist says I'll have my teeth for another 30 yrs. If my body cooperates, that will be when I'm 107! That's not inconceivable as my mother died at 98; her mother, 96; and her father, 97! My Dad died of heart attact (from high cholesterol back in the days when people weren't really aware of the dangers). I am in very good health, so it's a possiblility. That will allow me to be with my daughter/son-in-law's family---my Dearest Grandchildren, so that I can watch them grow through childhood, into young adulthood and my oldest Grandson, into early '40's! That pleases me--that is, if I can still have my faculties--esp'ly, the ability to feel their loving arms around me! This also gives me a time-limit to work on and COMPLETE a life-long passion and project! Knowing that I'm time-limited urges me on to complete it!
