What's on your wish list? What would you buy if you had more money?
And what would you give up if you had less and you had to cut back on a few expenses?
Answer:
An appliance...I need a chest freezer right now.If I got a lot, I'd like to landscape my yard more. If I had to cut back on expenses, I do away with my land line phone service (I use dial up occassionally at home so I need it for that, but I have network available at work)...I'd also probably do away with satellite tv and would try to eat out less.
I'd problaly buy some not too expensive clothes and save the leftover money so i wont be poor. =D
colthes I need them really bad. I would give up the cable and just watched what I had on video. Keep in mind that would mean I would have to use Dial-up( I hate it)
Make my home more energy efficient. Solar or wind may be an option, Get two Hybrid cars.
Help my kids pay off theor student loans. if ther's anything left over I'd take my wife on a trip she'd never forget
depending on how much..
well my car is running undependable- so a reliable running car and a little vacation i live in little b.s.ville so its high stress and sucks
and without i guess the dish ,i dont watch tv so much anyways.
I'd buy new ceramic tile for my bathroom and some nice new dishes because they are mismatched and mostly chipped.
In answer to your second question, I already cut back on tons of stuff so that my child can have a good education so there's not a whole lot more cutting back to do.
Maybe I could hang my clothes out to dry instead of running the dryer..Electricity bills are killing me!
I like this question.
I live in Spain so I think I would buy a Eurorail pass and visit France, Germany and Italy. It's only like 300€ if your under a certain age I think.
I would give up my sweet tooth for pastries and Starbucks Mocha Frapuccinos (3.70€ each really adds up quickly)
I would just have all the home improvements we haven't had the money to start.
We never even thought we'd be homeowners, and then this treasure fell in our laps and we seized the opportunity but every penny is stretched 'til it screams.
The kitchen and entryway and bathrooms need retiling, The wtw carpeting needs to be replaced (who buys IVORY carpeting??) and some of the rooms need repainting. Plus, just purely an indulgence, but a big jacuzzi for me to soak in.
What I'd give up?
We've already done that. We gave up on eating out/take out, all magazine subscription renewals, book clubs, long driving trips, wasteful shopping trips for only one item when we could bite the bullet and wait for a need for more items, to save gas, cut back on entertaining and cut back substantially on all gift giving during the holidays, including for ourselves.
Oh, and we make our own coffee and iced coffee rather than pay $4 a pop--that's a huge savings!
If I had a lot of money I would buy the things I need first like
clothes
shoes
food
a house
a sweet car
and then I would buy the things that I want like
candy
cd's
games
xbox
and movies
A college education for my younger siblings. A house and car for my parents. A vacation packet for everyone I knew to anywhere they wanted to go. A house and car myself. And honestly the rest I would give to charity, I believe money changes people too much and I do not want to be one of those people, especially when there are so many people that need so much more than me.
