Answer:
No single religion has been proven to be true and so we can't know for sure. Some religions teach that yes, suicide is murder, which is a sin that leads to damnation. But, again, we can't know for sure. So, if burning in hell is your greatest fear, then I would play it safe and not committ suicide, as there is a chance that you would end up damned.
