I am addicted to a computer game called Unreal tournament?
Should I continue to play this game or should I throw it away. I have only played for about an hour today after 8 months but it keeps taking over my life.
AAArgh, please help.

Throw it away, quit cold turkey.
You'll realize you can live without it.
That's what I did, but some days I still miss it.
Learn to limit yourself, and vary your pastimes.
uhm i just played like nonstop until it got really boring and pointless. or just throw it right out or give it to a friend. i recommend selling it to a shop so you can at least get some money.
you should get rid of it, i had this problem with world of warcraft, and it only ended when one day i was in the middle of a raid and suddenly my parents barged in with knives and pitchforks and whatnot lol with flaming eyes and my report card in their hands my comp nearly went flying out the window lol, dont let it get to thta point for u it sucks real bad
I used to get addicted to games like that, that one included...THROW IT A WAY! or else you will waste a large part of your life being competitive on a game that is pointless and dosn't further you in anyway. I don't even let myself near games now.

Seriously though if you were addicted you wouldnt have given it up for 8 months - you will get bored of it again and put it to the back of your mind! Dont worry about it!

I was right addicted until this like "thing" jumped out at me causing me to fall of my chair and hurt myself.
I've never been back on it.
Don't worry about it..its a fascination for you and it will end in due time...all things run their course in life and eventually come to an end. If that doesn't console you then smash it flat with your feet and throw it in the trash can and say, "This is my life and I am back in charge." .and as loud as you can so the neighbors can hear you.
If you throw it away you will be bored stupid and then you will be looking for another one. Keep playing mate someday you will be so sick of it, you will throw it away. I guess you are not ready to throw it away yet. Wait until you come to a part you can't solve and then you will not want to play it again. Happens to me a lot.
