The family environment (is it a good family or abusive etc)
School and other institution environments
Socio-economic status
Social networks (friends)
Factors that contributes to child development starts at home, how his elders behave and treat each other, then as he explore outside which include neighbors and friends outside the house until he reaches preschool where he socialize to different children of various ages who can contribute to his development.
