Is IQ one of the factors to succeed in life?or with avg intelligence itself we can achieve whatever we want ?
Answer:
You can achieve whatever you want with an average IQ. IQ has nothing to do with success. You can have the highest IQ in the world, but it means nothing if you do nothing with it. For example, I did some psychological assessment with a woman with a 147 IQ. She never finished college and was recently fired from a receptionist position. I've also tested individuals with IQs around 90-100 that had pretty good government jobs with good pay.
Honestly, an IQ score will tell you your strengths and weaknesses. It may give you some indication about your potential. But it should never dictate your life. You decide how well you can succeed, not some silly number.
I believe there are many factors that make for success in life, though they can be boiled down to letting go of ego. Do the best you can with what you have and you will be a success.
I think that while IQ is certainly good to have, it's not remotely enough by itself. It takes determination, and the ability to set long-term goals and achieve intermediate ones. If you don't have those, all the smarts in the world won't help.
To succeed is a question in and of itself.
What a person wants and what they achieve is also speculative.

IQ is a good factor in succeeding in life..but it also takes courage, confidence, (belief in oneself).because without courage and confidence how will you be able to put your IQ into use?you will only keep the ideas in your head because you are afraid of making a move..a move which could have lead you up the road of success..you have to take risks in life to succeed
Actually IQ is not all that important. Hard work, good ethics, and personality skills (how you get along with co-workers) are far more important.
Here's a link to a great article that shows how hard work and more importantly PRACTICE are the single most important ingredients to success.

Happiness depends on the person.
If your happy with yourself, your life will be fine.
I'm not talking obese ego, or narcissism, but if you learn to love yourself, you'll be a heckuva lot more tolerant.
