When I told my ex girlfriend I was leaving to go to College, she told me.?

that she was going to apply to the same one. But I talked to a very good friend of hers and she said that she was lying. I asked her why she lied she said she didnt know. Why did my ex girlfriend lie and say she was going to apply to the same College as me?

Answer:
There are any number of reasons why a person, especially an ex-GF (!), might lie to you. My instinct on this one is that perhaps she wants you back and was testing you to see what your reaction was to her suggestion that she was going to the same college as you. Are you still interested in her? If so, there may be a window of opportunity here.

Of course, it's always possible she's just f'ing with you too! ;)
She was just looking for a reaction from you. Would you fear sharing four years at college with her, or welcome it? She's trying to see if you still have feelings for her by how you react to this possibility.
Maybe just to mess w/ your head. SHe probably wanted to see how you would react to her going to your same college.
