People say if we could tap into all of our brains power we could do extraordinary things..?

Any thoughts on this or any exercises for your brain to learn to use more of the brain??

Answer:
Be willing to challenge yourself to learn something new every year. Most of us are tired, lazy or just bent on having fun.

But the bigger problem is with little kids and their parents. From what I've read, most kids are born with huge numbers of connections in their brains, and the potential for many, many more. If parents don't engage that learning ability and brain power early, even in fun ways, the kids lose it.

The brain is supposed to work like a muscle. But it work both ways. Don't develop your mind and abilities, and it loses the ability to learn, little by little. The same way a strong person will lose strength over time if they do not train.

You can gain the ability to do anything, learn anything, or lose the ability to learn little by little. Just as strength in muscle can ebb and flow with training.

Years ago, I started reading a chess book. It was difficult at first. Put me to sleep. But in time it got easier. Then one day, I was following the moves of a game, and looking at a static diagram. As I read additional moves, my mind changed the view of the pieces as if the diagram of the board was changing on the page in front of me. For a time, this just kept happening, and my chess really improved. Then I stopped playing, and reading about chess. This "moving pieces thing" has since left me, and never came back. I've never thought about trying to bring it back, if I could.

It just takes time, and focus, and practice for something you want to learn.

Not so sure we can develop super powers or violate natural laws. Levitation has been occasionally claimed, but I think if you did manage it, you be so impressed with yourself you'd lose focus, and not be able to do it again. Ego getting in the way.
I think what that means is if you work hard enough you can learn alot
Learning to play chess, doing crossword and soduko puzzles, or learning to read music and play a musical instrument, are all excellent exercises for the brain and if you want physical exercise as well, try ballroom dancing, fencing or table tennis. They exercise the motor areas of the brain along with all the rest.
