no. i do not think so.
Internet dialog is still a relatively new science for public use, so i would redirect that question to a fact often not seen. words are designed to be carried out through human contact and used for social reasoning and when you have contact with words but not another person well that in itself is once science fiction now became science and then became our weapon of such massive self destruction because we have gone beyond the need to meet and reproduce our life.
I have not seen any evidence of that being the case.
However television does play a role in the suicide rate.
Mostly because they promote beauty in everything.
But not everyone is beautiful so it deeply affects them.
