I have a friend who when talking to her, from one sentence to the next is about a totally different subect,I can`t keep up!I can never finish a conversation with her, what causes a person to do this?

Answer:
ADHD.Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I have this and I am the same way. One symptoms of this is Inattention. This is the most common symptom. In addition to having difficulty paying attention, people with this symptom often are unable to consistently focus, remember, and organize. They may be careless and have a hard time starting and completing tasks that are boring, repetitive, or challenging.

She most likely has this. It's not really a big deal until she can't hold down a job or whatever than medication can be used. Well i hope i could help ya!
Maybe she's an attention seeker who can't bear to lose your attention for a second and maybe she's senile.
Sometimes I do that. I will be on one subject, then something that is said reminds me of something else. The two subjects are not related in the mind of the other person, but they are to me. So to answer: There is some kind of link between the two subjects in my mind. Maybe that is the same for your friend.
She has ADD! However, don't underestimate her intelligence, people with ADD are usually bright, interested, and fun loving. Just don't expect her to be a good listener.
