I don't have a competitive bone in my body. What do I do?
I don't care about sports, putting on a good show, I've never won anything, don't have a single award to show for any accomplishment in my life. I just don't care. I'm very dependent and controlling, I must've missed the boat on competitive personality traits. I probably can't change, so should I feel bad and how do I live like this?
Answer:
No, you shouldn't feel bad. Competitive people aren't the best either. They hate losing and knowing or hearing that someone is better than them. Some overly competitive people are self centered and selfish. You live like you've been living your whole life. Be yourself, and don't feel bad! Hope I helped!

Well dude at least you are not alone. Some of us just don't care.
if you are so dependent and controlling-why do you need to ask us? answer yer self
Well, I'm like that too. What I do is I volunteer as much as I can. There is no competition, but a great feeling of accomplishment and knowing someone was helped is a great feeling.
You don't need an award helping others. Just your own satisfaction.
You should try a little at the local library or community centers.
I bet I'm less competitive than you.
Everyone is different...some people are leaders, some are followers and then some just wanna be left alone and don't mind leading or following. If you truly don't care, then the hell with it, but since you're asking, maybe it DOES bother you that you're not like those others. Live like you're your own person. Be comfortable with yourself as you are--work on that and you'll be happy with you. But if not competing isn't making you happy, take the steps to at least TRY different things and then you'll know for sure your feelings are right.
Maybe work on that dependent/controlling aspect and try to get where you're going on a cooperative basis.
The only reason I say work on the dependent/controlling aspect is that it is probably hurtful to others. If you're fine with the way you are, then just be, but if you're hurting others in the bargain, then maybe you should try to change.
Peace
All but the controlling is OK. Your introverted, I f you can live just with your self OK , if not quit kicking your self and start to do something to help some other person. Get involved and stop feeling sorry for your self there's someone out there for you . LOVE SOMETHING TO START.
