Disney is the overt organizational operation of brainwashing?
Does anyone think that these kinds of no-point, mind-mushing tv shows should be banned and more educational ones should be pushed?

no i dont think that disney is a wast of time or even bad. I think when kids are bored they can turn to disney. and if thats all your sister does is watching tv then its her parents falt for letting her. dont blame disney. you have they power to educate her

not banned but should be better choices and let the viewer make his/her decision. evrything we see, everything we buy is demographically analysed, what will interest the viewer, what will keep the viewer coming back, what will repulse the viewer. isolating one entertainment company is not fair, really.
one thing about lving in a totally sense manipulated advertisement bombarding world is u can buy it and be a sucker all ur life or realize how entertainment and product companies play on the knowledge of ur ethnicity, wealth estimation, age ,sex and try to influence ur emotions.
There's a lot of adults who think asking questions here on FunQA.com turns your brain to mush. Zoning out and entertainment do tend to get mixed up these days. Examine your sister's need for "zoning out" time. We all need some of that activity. Too much, of course, is unhealthy.
I teach young children and I'm a nurse. Watching television is an intellectually passive activity. I adamantly disapprove of television viewing for children under 12 years old, not necessarily for what they might be watching, but because of what more intellectually stimulating activity they could and should be doing. It's about what they are missing. You could change that.
Perhaps, you could read aloud to her. She would appreciate that, and appreciate you, for the rest of her life. Instead of blaming Disney, consider what you yourself should be doing with your sister that would be more stimulating and meaningful.
