What are the different parts of your brain used for?

For example, what is the one for your memory called. What is the one for sensations...etc. Thanks!

Answer:
There's too many parts to name. Here's some:
Limbic System: Group of brain nuclei that innervate each other to form a network; Controls emotion, motivation, and memory
Amygdala: Stimulation causes fear state with increased heart rate, decrease saliva, stomach ulcers, increased respiration, freezing; emotional memory, aggression, emotional regulation, perception of odor
Hippocampus: Important for learning and memory
Fornix: Important for learning
Cingulate gyrus: Direction of attention
Olfactory bulb: Sense of smell
Diencephalon including the hypothalamus (hunger, thirst, temperature regulation, reproductive behaviors, controls the pituitary gland) and mammillary bodies (influences motivation, sexual behavior, hunger, thirst, temperature regulation, autonomic nervous system, aggression, endocrine system, and emotion)
Hippocampus- Learning and language
Dorsolateral circuit: Organizing a behavioral response to solve a complex problem; responsible for learning new info, copying complex object, systematically searching memory; activating remote memories; shifting and maintaining set; generating motor programs of behavior; using verbal skills to guide behavior
Orbitofrontal circuit: mediates empathic, civil, and socially appropriate behavior.
Anterior Cingulate Circuit: Mediates motivated behavior
Reticular formation affects waking-sleeping
The frontal lobe controls some emotions; like anger, annoyed, excited, pleased, content and at least three more that I can't remember. Speech is controlled by a lump just behind the frontal lobe. The brain stem is your actual brain, the other parts just exercise control over it. However, your brain stem has a very nasty personality, which will stop at nothing, so it has to be controlled by the rest of your grey matter. Sight is controlled by the back of the brain somewhere. Get a biology book, that will give you a rough outline of the known brains functions.
Wow! there are so many parts I couldnt tell you on here but the main parts like the...
Frontal lobe~~ controls emotions and reasoning and judgement
Parietal lobe~~ controls sensory
Temporal lobe~~ controls hearing and memory
Occipital lobe~~controls vision and reading
Cerebrum~~ controls thought,learning, reasoning
cerebellum~~ controls balance
Brain stem~~ controls memory and thought
