Deep psychological reasons or...?

1. normally, when there's an expensive car on the street, people stare at it. i look away. same thing happens if there's something happening on the street, i look away.

2. usually, as i've read and heard through so many sources, if you want to achieve something, you should cut out some pictures and put them on the wall for source of motivation. for me, that acts as s demotivator because it reminds me of the things i do not have.

3. i dont' like reading about the rich or about some guy who invented something or materialized a great business idea and is now making lots of money.

can someone provide some insights into the above.

and, no matter what goal i set to achieve, i never achieve it. i can never get up at the time i want to get up, never exercise with any sort of consistency. what is to become of me if i fail at every goal i set out to achieve, no matter how small? try to be objective and provide insight into how i can prevent this and change. not even fear motivates me.

Answer:
ok , there noting wrong with you what you said in part one and two and three . The one thing this is that your mind really does not care about this which you don't need to look at , like whats happening on the street etc. Your mind does not like to see these things like " rich or about some guy who invented something " thats normal everyone is the same most of us anyway lol , And for the bottom question what i would say form a psychologist point of view is that you must of all things believe in your self and don't give up on your self because you failed . its was only a try after all. Think of your self as a very smart person and some day I'll will make lots of money ... it will work out for you , just trust in your self !!
I also don't see a problem with points 1, 2, or 3. Maybe there is some jealousy going on here or maybe these material things just don't interest you as much as the next person. Sounds more like a personality trait than a "problem." It's only a problem if you feel like it is adversely affecting your life in some way, and you didn't mention that it is.

However, on your final point about not achieving your goals (interesting by the way that you saved this one for last and didn't number it #4) this sounds like a bit of depression. Not waking up early enough in the morning, not exercising, not achieving small goals maybe a sign of a bigger problem of depression.

Personally, I think it's important to have goals and not only have them but write them down and make a detailed plan of what you need to do step by step to achieve them. If you say, "someday I'll get that college degree" chances are you never will, or you will do so when you're 40! Start by thinking what is your #1 goal right now and then break it down into small manageable steps. Ideally, you should have short-term, mid-range and long-term goals to work on within this larger main goal.
