If someone is terminally ill, and decides living in misery is too much for them, and they choose to die..?
Is that a form of suicide? I think its called Eauthanasia...But if you're really sick and you tell the doctor to kill you, because you can't live like that, do you go to hell? cause you basically commited suicide...

Yes it is called euthenasia, and it's not legal in North America. It is in the Netherlands. Dr. Jack Kevorkian was just released from jail after 8 years for assisting people to die with dignity.
Frankly I don't care how learned you are or even if you are a friend or a family NO-ONE has the right to tell me what my quality of life is and that I should have to live because it bothers your conscience that I might want to take my life and die with dignity.
You more than likely have no idea what someone else's quality of life is like , whether or not you're a caregiver.
We've had two sensational cases in Canada over euthenasia , Sue Rodguiez who finally did die with help and Traci Lattimer , a 12 year old girl who had multiple disabilities and whose father in a 'merciful' act couldn't stand to see her suffer anymore. He's still in jail I believe although the ten year sentence will probably be up soon. Frankly if it'd been up to me he'd have rotted in jail for another 15.
I believe in euthenasia and I've written down so my doctor , the health system, my lawyer and my family and friends know , that if there's no hope and I'm suffering I don't want any heroic measures, no tubes, no heart palipations , let me die in dignity.
I don't think that anyone should have to live in complete misery and pain and die a slow, horrid death. Our society would never allow their pet dog or cat to suffer, yet we expect the people that we love to just 'hang on' until they finally just die. Why don't we have that much compassion for our fellow human beings? I don't believe that you go to hell because you don't want to suffer anymore. Once you have NO MORE quality of life, should you not have the right to say that you will NO LONGER suffer? I don't believe that other people (family members, etc) should be able to make that choice for you, but it really should be up to you and your physician.

i disagree - once to death then to judgement. and yes God forgives but only if you repent - what were u doing ur entire life to have to make such a harsh decision? really that is between you and God - whether you go to hell or not I NOR ANY ONE ELSE can say they are not GOD - did not create mankind.

The way I see it is, technology prolongs the dying process. I watched my dad go through a slow process and he begged me to give him an o.d.
Of course I wouldn't but yet I know when my dogs were suffering, there weren't any problems when we knew they were suffering so much.
What you're describing sounds like assisted suicide. Kevorkian just got out of prison (8 yrs!) for it.
It is up to the individual as far as I am concerned. Going through the treatments for Cancer can be a really bad scene. Other diseases that are incurable and rob people of their lives and Independence are much worse. It's hard to say if they go to hell, but what about the hell on earth they live through? I seriously doubt it they go to hell...Catholics would say they go to purgatory, the place in between heaven and hell. I was always taught that all you have to do is ask for forgiveness if you commit a sin. The human brain takes about 15 minutes to stop electrical activity once the heart stops pumping blood. The person committing suicide could be asking forgiveness in that amount of time.
If you could stay alive without any modern medical help, purely on your own, you are still alive. Getting drugs to kill you would be suicide.
Been kept alive by human machines, although there is no modern technology that can keep you sane and living, why do you live.
Adding a few minutes to someones life could give them the opportunity to give there soul to Jesus.
