What is wrong with me? what should i do?
Answer:
I find this helps, not sure about you.
Having a mom that will NAG you to hell if she sees you slacking off. And is all like ohhh I'm wasting my money on you and you are not even doing anything in return (like studying).
Ohhh I'm so upset at you, sooo disapointed.
Guilt hits - you study.
Or think of your future. you only get to study once, but you can slack of anytime in your life. You can only take this chem course once. ONCE!
You will only do university once!
Suffering now is the key to happiness later in life.
you've got the blues. school does that to your head man. you think you want to go back, get back into the swing of it. and then reality hits, and you dont feel like it anymore. i always have the most energy at the beginning of the year, and then i tail off.until graduation year, where i actually tried. time flies when your havin fun...
you'll be fine, good luck.
Is there some reason you have to take courses in the summer? Organic requires a lot of memorization (I lived with 4 pre-meds one year) and memorizing takes time for repetitions so this would be better over a longer period--like a semester.
I'd drop the class and do something else this summer, even if it's just mow yards, walk dogs and keep a few organic formulae taped to the bathroom mirror.
Stess can also cause depression which might be what you are taking as being lazy. Do you have body aches and pains? Your shoulders tight, back hurt? Headaches? All this can stem from depression, talk to a councler on campus and see if you can get some help over coming these feelings. And don't be so hard on yourself, walk away from it time to time if you can, go outside enjoy the sun and give it another shot. Light therapy has been proven to help people suffering from depression and stess. Good luck!
summer classes will do that. it is too nice to be in class. well, you have no choice. you have to work for it. i cannot motivate you over this, you need to do it on your own.
your probably a smart college student if your in that field, you should be able to figure that out for yourself.
Nothing, it's normal I think! I know what you mean, I've felt that way quarter before last and I know it won't be my last time felling it. College is hard work. This is easier said than done, but you just have to grit and bear it. Keep your eye on the prize, so they say. There's really no easy way around it, you just have to go through it. Good Luck! (ps. if you find an easy way out let me know lol)
