Why do sinners reject John 3:5 ?
the gospel of Acts 2:38 Repenting of sins being water baptized in Jesus Christ and being filled with the Holy Ghost.
This is how you become born of water and of the Spirit. Anything else other than this is false doctrines.
Answer:
are you suggesting you're no longer a sin? that's a bit pompous and pretentious don't you think? not to mention a blatant lie (and that i say with certainty) which would compound the sinning.
and to sit in judgement of others is the epitome of hubrus is it not? and we all know where those who are so full of themselves that they can only identify fault in others end up don't we??
You are assuming that people inherently believe the Bible to be the end-all-be-all. What is true for your existence is not necessairly true for others.
I do not understand what you mean?
What's a "John 3:5"?
Perhaps because some do not accept the concept of sin. Maybe they believe that doing something "wrong" isn't a slap in the face to some God, but instead something humans do, learn from and correct. Because of this they have nothing to confess, and nothing to feel shame and guilt over. Just a thought. I figured conjecture would be alright, being that your question wasn't really a question, but rather a statement in the guise of a question.
Amen. And gird your loins and put on the full armor of God to fight false doctrine. You should read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, a famous scientist and foremost among sinners. The better you can understand and refute his arguments the better you can stand up for the Word of God, which is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword. When believers all over read Dawkins and know what he's up to, he won't know what hit him. If we can convert him, it will be second only to the conversion of Paul on the road to Damascus.
At some point we all rejected John 3:5 and not only that but the whole word of Christ itself.Remember that sinners are people too.they are not some fly to be hit at but they are human in need of love.Should we work on the things that we reject of Christ and show the sinner how to walk perhaps rejection will be a thing of the past for them
Then why did Jesus tell the thief on the cross "Today you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:43)and he wasn't baptized?
Remember, just being baptized doesn't save you. You need to repent and believe you are a sinner and know that ONLY Jesus can save us/you. Baptism is just an outward sign of God's new covenant- like circumcision was in the Old Testament.
I have to ask you what compels you to sit in judgment who do not believe as you do. Doesn't the Bible say '...he who is without sin shall cast the first stone...'? Your beliefs are yours, and you are very entitled to them, but what makes you responsible for the conversion and education of those souls he insist are lost? Your unsolicited advice serves to annoy many, alienating them from the message you seek to carry. It does not mean anyone disagrees, though many surely do. Rather, did you ever stop to think waiting until someone asked for spiritual guidance may allow you to truly carry God's word?
Sorry. I don't believe you have to participate in an ancient ritual to Know God. God knows I believe so thats all that matters. How does anyone know exactly what Jesus stated? The Bible was written hundreds of years after Jesus died. All we can do is believe in the Word, the Message, and not take it so literal.
Didn't you forget "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved"?
because they havent upgraded to version 3.8 yet
Old Fart -- ROFL - love the reply.
Shouldn't this question be in the spirituality and religion section? I thought the bible beaters rejected secular psychology (social science).
