The child is father to the man?
why is this ?
Answer:
Because it seems that the cut of a man's jib in his adulthood is largely determined during the formative years of his childhood.
because he had sex with the mans mother. duh. is this supposed to be a riddle or something?
that means that the child acts more mature than the dad and the child basicly takes care of him because he is prolly a druggy or a drunk
Theres a "big kid" in us...
Because the child is more mature than his father, so he must act as a parent to him. Maybe his father has a disability or is just immature.
We learn from the innocent minds of children. Experiences tend to be forgotten or neglected once we are older. We look at children who see things in the world without judging or caring and therefore, becomes a father (someone who teaches) to mankind.
Because children often can teach us adults things we do not know or have forgotten.
Good luck
uhm.. he had a child early?
ur q is confusing!
Huh? I don't really understand the question.
it means adults learn from the innocent minds of children...you'd be amazed at how much you can learn from a child...its the little things they do...they bring the child out from inside us
It is usually because the man is so immature that the child must take the responsibilities of an adult. For example; the child will make sure dad has breakfast by getting up early to make bacon and eggs before the father goes to work. The child will see to it that the laundry is done for the week because dad won't do it. The child will watch out for the father in most matters like bill collectors, rent, foodstuff by hook, or by crook the child will gain the funds from dad to see that the house is financially stable.
This works in other areas as well, emotional, supportive, and defensive.
It also comes into effect mostly when the man is in his old age and cannot care for himself. Here the child may be in his forties but he has taken the role of fathering the man. His dad.
This is where the child is usually father to the man. When the man is old and senile; or old and incapable of physically caring for himself, and his house. The man may well be alert in mind but the body has failed him, his son has not.
The child is father to the man because he loves him and wants to nurture him.
Reincarnation i guess??
cogito ergo sum has it. Every man retains his inner child: the man follows on from the child. The child came first so is the "father" but that child will become a man who recalls being a child and is still the child on the inside. Originally said by William Wordsworth in "My Heart Leaps Up" and used by Gerard Manley Hopkins in his poem "Triolet" ("How can he be? The words are wild.")
"give me a child till he`s seven and I will give you the man"
Basically the childs formative years will dictate how the man will be. For instance abuse and neglect in the early years often make a man who cannot commit or establish longterm relationships etc.
Because the first seven years of life experiences and interactions,( mostly with family friends and people of the same culture) shape the personality that will eventually become the man.
Who was it said "give me the boy for seven years and I will give you the man"...the Jesuits.
