Paranoia, do you believe in it?
to a certain degree do you believe in this?
do you believe it keeps you safe?
Answer:
I think paranoia is bad when it affects the quality of your life. That's the point of psychiatry, in that it treats illnesses which cause people psychological or emotional distress.
But a healthy wariness about what's around you can be beneficial.
theres a fine line between paranoia & caution
Look, I'm not paranoid, okay! It's just that there's this worldwide conspiracy against me. I'm not stupid, I know they're waiting for me. I'm not going out. Okay?
Paranoia is very real and can be suffered by amphetamine users amongst others.
I can't answer right now, their watching!
smoke ya some killer pot an see you if you don't get a little scared/paranoid.
No, it's a disease of the mind and it doesn't keep you safe. It makes you over protective, and less likely to lead a happy life because you are afraid of everything bad happening. The best way to live life is in hope of the good happening, that way the good will happen to you. Paranoia in it's own way is a self fulfilling prophecy.
Sorry. Can't tell you. I think they may be watching me.
what! who's that! i know your out there looking at me. stop ringing me . i know its you. Umm what were we talking about ahhh yes paranoia nahhh i don't believe in it at all.
Paranoia is an unfounded distrust of people or situations. Most (more likely ALL) people experience paranoia, which is often as simple as misinterpreting people's actions. i.e. X isn't talking to me because I've upset them, when the reality is that X is just too busy to talk.
To say that I believe in it make no sense. It exists, and everyone experiences it to a greater or lesser degree. BUT, paranoia is a very negative state. The less of it there is in your life the happier you will invariably be!
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean that they're NOT out to get me!
Heightened awareness may help one be more cautious, more intuitive, less vulnerable to step into harm's way . . but paranoia is an exaggerated way to perceive things.I believe we all have certain modicums of paranoia in us, after all, we've had experiences that brand us in such a way, we (may) see danger or threat in things which have not, these.
