Regrets? what are some things you would change?
what are they
what would you change?
Answer:
I've thought about this question often as a lot of people ask it. When I look back on my life, there are choices I made, bad decisions, but when I look at where my life is right now, I'm happy.
And I realize that every choice, every decision, right or wrong, led me to where I am today - being happy with my career, my family, my location, and enjoying my love life.
So I wouldn't change anything in my past.
I would change not doing better in school.
I told a guy who suggested that we date that I didn't even want to be friends anymore. I was young and naive. A few weeks later, I said hi when he passed by, but he just kinda smiled painfully. He couldn't even speak to me. I don't blame him; I would give anything to go back and treat him with more compassion and consideration.
yes i have regrets, but would i change anything? i doubt it. when you change something in the past you create a ripple effect, thats then changes everything and everyone around you. for example, you might gain the person you let walk out of your life, but lose a family member, or a long time friend, and that person you longed after wasnt who you thought they were. are you willing to take that chance?
I gave you a star because this question really made me think.
Every time I came up with something I regretted doing, I think beyond it and realize that if I hadnt done that one thing, I wouldnt be where I am today. My children-grandchildren and great grandchildren would never have been born. It all boils down to-life is going along as it should and I wouldnt change one thing about my life today. But-I'm really old. Maybe if I had been asked this question a long time ago, the answer would have been different. Thanks for the question.

I regret that most people... no matter culture, complextion, status or stature still maintain a wait and see attitude about the way civilization exists... even after it is revealed to all... that civilization proceeds toward disasters beyond our imagination and perhaps our extinction.

I regret that we as a species did not show enough concern to nurture the nature from which we came and that includes our own children and grandchildren.
