Psychology books i should read !?

Answer:
i highly recommend "Warning: Psychiatry Can Be Hazardous to your Mental Health" by William Glasser. You might not agree with his view of mental disorders, but, like with all topics, it is good to get information from both ends of the spectrum, just to have something challenging to think about. Whether it is too advanced for someone who is not very familiar with psychology just depends on the person, but i would bet that most people would find it easy to read.
A college level General Psychology Text book. Get the basics first. But anything dealing with abnormal psychology. Also check out the DSM-IV. Good luck!
When I was a psych major, my teacher recommended this fantastic novel to us called "I know this much is true" by Wally Lamb. It was an awesome break from all the textbooks. It's about two brothers, one was schizophrenic..
was phenominal!
