maybe when u were a child u were hurt or abandoned and now it is a defense mechanism that you have to protect you from any future hurt. you should go to a therapist and talk out all your thoughts so they can help u learn to open up and not shut off your emotions.
sounds to me like you're in some sort of denial, like you're not allowing yourself to face emotions. was there something in your childhood or any part of your past that hurt you? or that should have hurt you, and you decided to block out all emotions? think about it ... talk it out to someone you trust, or just have a session or two with a therapist ... after that, you'll get a clearer picture of what to do next. please take some action, you're missing out on a lot! good luck!
