It is a fear that is has to do with changes. Any kind of changes. People how suffer from these phobia that feel anxious and stressed when there is an change in the environment they live. A small change without meaning for the other people it may stress metathesiophobic people. these people want a stable environment without changes in that way they feel that they control their environment and they do not feel stress and they increase their self-esteem. other theories believe that this phobia has to do with what people can stand. if someone is introvert he doesn't want changes around him because he overcomes his expert limit which is the limit of the stimulus that he can control and stand
