Queen is just a band, your mother must be religious by saying it's against god, I've heard othwer christians say it myself, but in order to keep your mom chilled I wouldn't listen to it where she could hear it. That way you can still enjoy it and she won't come down on you.
I doubt it, unless you're like.. worshipping your new interests or something
Typically in a "discussion" there isn't a right side or a wrong side, but two competing arguments. If you were to sit down in a quiet room and think through "discussions" I think you'd realize that both sides have valid points.
You are at a major chaning point in your life. You are going to try new things, become a bit argumentative with your parents, a bit rebellious. You will feel that you should be treated like an adult and are capable of making your own adult, rational decisions. Let me answer that right now, you are not. You just won't like being told what to do, will do the opposite, and will regret it in 10 years.
On the flipside, your mother should realize you are at this stage, and she was there at one point too. She should remember the teen angst and try to help you through it in a clear and rational way.

I think it's a phase not an obsession. Next month you may be into a "Panic at the Disco" phase. The teen years are very wonderous, and your mom should let you explore a little with out being too critical. You're just finding out your likes and dislikes. Finding out what makes you well...you! And you are in my opinion FABULOUS! Really, this isn't a right or wrong issue

You're just a teenager and teenager go through this all the time - it's just part of being a teenager.
You like music from certain groups and you like certain singers/actors - but that has nothing to do with your religious beliefs.

This is the problem with religion today. I'm sure Jesus had a favorite "teaching method" or liked to teach the word of God, was he obsessed?
