If you could live 200 years?
Answer:
Assuming you aged at a slower rate in proportion to the death i.e when you are 40 you really have the body and mind of a 20 year old, 60 have a 30 year old etc etc I would really like this.
As it stands life is too short and time moves too quickly, I am 27 and it feels like I was only just 19 a couple of years ago and it seems to get faster and faster as I get older.
Before I know it I will be 60.
I would try and enjoy my life, and hope it made a meaningful difference in the intelligence of our world.
I'd shoot myself
study biology and find a way for my body not to deteriorate so quickly
That is a very thought provoking question. It would really depend on if my loved ones would also live that long. If so, I would do whatever I could to better society and myself. If not, I really don't want to out live my children (I know that this is somewhat out of my control). If I were to out live my children, I would honestly not be of much worth to society. Is life too short? It seems that way, but it depends on how you live it. I still feel like I am in my youth, but time does go by quickly.
id definitely work toward my career goals more so i could have money to enjoy and i wouldnt feel like i was spending my whole life working with no play
I do not want to live to the age where I have to depend on someone else to dress me, feed me, and bathe me. I want to live a good, long, healthy life to see my children grow up and be happy but not to the point where I have to have someone wipe my ***!
Yeah i wanna be able to be 200
I would take at least one semester of English.
Life is what you make it, If I could live to be 200, I just hope my body don't fall apart so I could enjoy it to the full! Just think of how much you could accomplish! Life is definitely to short when your enjoying yourself!
I honestly don't think my heart could handle living that long. Imagine the amount of heartache we go through in the "average" human life span, now double or even triple it...no thanks!
I would like to join the Peace Corps...
Just think, at about 59 you'd be 50 nineteen at 100 you'd just
be middle aged, drawing your pension at around 180.
That would amount to working for about 160 years.
Not for me.
if life was that long, we could probably improve our life, sociably and financially, to a great extent.. but p*ss our great great grandchildren off cos we don't just hurry up and die rather than non-stop gabbling about the good old days when we only had pcs and ipods..
the worlds population would be pretty messed up too..
I would make a world wide revolution 100 year to study and get smart and get idelogys and be the best of the best and the other 100 years i spend making my revolution
200 years? I'd never want to live that long. I'd be totally decrepit for the last 100, with no one my age to talk to. My closest family relation when I die would be a great-great-grandchild.
Oh, this would be terrible
Clockwork Orange?
Hm. I actually have only one anwser here..." Times passes by so fast when one's having fun". Hope you get the point
If I found out now that I would live 200 more minutes, or 200 more years, it would be the same to me.
This is the very meaning of "Live in the moment, not for the moment." Now in an eternity. Focus on now, and you'll be content whether you live 200 more seconds or 200 more years. Your decisions should be based on the fact that they are the right decisions, here and now. When tomorrow comes, you make the best decisions for that moment. As far as long term plans, it wouldn't be any different than now. You can make long term plans for when you're 80, but you're not even guaranteed tomorrow. You make the plans the best you can, and then you live in each moment.
A wise man once said, "I shall finish the Game, Doc. I shall finish the Game."
Wait. I think that was Emilio Estevez as Billy the Kid...
