Yours is an answer that's a delight to find. It's what Shere Hite discovered in her last research into families. She said:
"Boys who grow up with 'only' their mother, as seen in Part III, experience less pressure to demonstrate contempt for things 'feminine' and for non-aggressive parts of themselves".
Her thesis was that fathers teach their sons to be 'manly', and misogyny is partly what they bequeath. In her research, she discovered sons of single mothers formed very much better relationships with women than sons trained by their dad.

how do you know I am ?
That's a tough one. I am a heterosexual because I have always liked girls. From elementary school all the way to now. I think it has to do with the fact that my mom has raised me solo. I grew to love my mom, and therefore grew to love girls and women.
