What to do about grown male that takes and doesn't give?
this is grandson living at home and contributing nothing to his living there having accidents and parents shaking heads and talking of turningt the other cheek. Has a son and living with mother and already showing signs of his father works 2 jobs and yet they know nothing of his income.he is 34 years old.

Throw him out of your house and tell him to support his own family. And that he is a grown man. It migh t be hard and If he needs to come back home he'll be stronger and if he doesnt then he has done much better than you could have seen :)

As long as parents will enable him he will continue to do whatever he likes and to hell with everybody else. And he is 34 years old chronogically not emotionally as everything he does is to exert his circle of control over his surroundings and the people in them. Since the child is the father of the man there is little hope for this guy but maybe for his child if he is kept away from "Daddy". What this guy really needs is a dose of stark reality in the form of having a shoe stuck up his rear end as it kicks his egocentric mooching butt out the door of his relative's home and told to get his own place and then he can live like a pig and contribute nothing - and no one will give a tinker's damn. If there is to be any hope for him he needs tough love and a smack up side the head with the two by four of the reality of what human relationships should be. What a loser.
