I'm afraid of the dark, elevators, and heights.
I'm afraid of severe thunderstorms because the weather is so unpredictable and you never know what it will bring.

I'm afraid of heights.
I am afraid of being in a place where no one gives you any answers, and things happen which you have no warning of and no control over.
How can you live if you never know what is happening now or what will happen next?

My children dying I can deal with anything else but I think that would but me in a major depression that would take for ever if not impossible to come out of.
