How can I help my friend?

She is addicted to playing the victim sort of. She seems to always like people to feel sorry for her and she always likes the attention. She doesn't take care of her health and I think she enjoys the attention when she has health problems. She has been on antidepressants but they haven't really helped. She said she wants to learn how to allow herself to "just be happy".
Is there a website I can tell her about so she can start to help herself?

Answer:
She needs to find out for herself how to be happy.
Unless you are going to be her guide on a spiritual journey, I suggest you not feed into her pathology.
Also I beleive it's called Munchausens disease.
That's when you seek attention for abuse or illness that you yourself caused.
If you can't help her, or if she doesn't want help, move on, she sounds toxic.
I know this sounds reaaally stupid but obviously shes doing it for attention so why not do some really fun stuff with her and other people that like includes her because you probably just get annoyed and only think of her as this drama queen. I have two friends who are exactly like this and all I did to make them feel better was to constantly make them laugh and smile and make sure they didnt have time to talk to me about these things.
