What does creativity have that knoledge doesn't?
Answer:
Creativity is self-serving. We can be creative with anything all on our own but for knowledge we need a teacher, whether that be a person, book, exploration, etc. Knowledge must come from somewhere. Creativity sparks from anywhere and everywhere. Hard to explain what I mean.
It works with new that's why it's creativity.
Imagination.
Knowledge= old.
Creativity= new.
Knowledge+Creativity= Above Average Results in all Endeavors.
Knowledge without the capacity to apply it in creative and innovative ways would become useless, unable to adapt itself to a changing world.
Creativity is not bound by rules. Creativity encompasses all that we can imagine.
Knowledge says, "I know why I'm on this island. The plane crashed. I need to find a way out. Wish I would have taken that First Aid course."
Creativity says, "Driftwood...let's build a hut and a campfire!"
Knowledge is increasing in learning, creativity is putting together what you have to make something useful (or nice!)
To have knowledge is to possess information. To be creative is to combine that information in a new way.
Or, stated another way, being knowledgeable demonstrates the ability to mimic on a high level; being creative involves making non-obvious associations between things that previously appeared to not be at all related.
