About how much does it cost for counseling for one person?
I know it varies but just give me some ideas.
I just finished my last year of highschool so I don't have much money. I will go to college.
I have no parents or family to help either.
Answer:
It can get really expensive, you can try to call around your town and find out from local counselors. Also if you are open to this, I am in college getting a masters in counselor education. So I love to help people, you can email me whatever it is you are dealing with, I am more than willing to help. Also I have a large variety of experiences, through myself, and others. Anyone who wants free counseling, or advice, or whatever, can email me at teenhelp911@yahoo.com I specifically set this up to help others, so email me and tell me your general issue. Good luck with your decisions
I believe it is about 75 dollars for one session.
Depends on where you go and how long you need to be seen.
Start with a minister--they're always free. Even if you don't have a church, Methodist pastors tend to have counseling training or know another Methodist nearby (There's one in almost every county in the US) who does. If you have a bigger problem than pastoral counseling can address, the pastor can give you suggestions about who nearby will see for free or at low rates.
Good luck.
There should be some free counseling services in your area, or sliding scale services if you have a low income.
The average cost of counseling at least here in NYC is about $250 to $350 an hour. Depending on the education and experience of the counselor. Most of the cost is usually picked up by an insurance company.
85 to 250; try to get someone straight out of college just as good and dirt cheap.
it depends in what psychotherapists approach that your counselor follows. prices star from 60 to 120 euros that means 80 to 160 dollars
It depends on what you mean by counseling, therapeutic counseling or job/college counseling. I will assume you mean therapy. Anyway, anywhere from $75-150/hour. Insurance usually covbers it. If you don't have insurance, you can find clinic that are free or work on a sliding scale. Also, if you are going to college they usually have a free counseling service. Anyway, the best bet is to call a couple of therapists in your area and ask. If they can't help you, they may be able to direct you to what you need.
