Is it possible to have natural dislike for life?

Yea I know I'm just asking for trouble with this question. You read about how depression is very common nowadays and how several drugs are available to help correct it. My question is: Is it possible for someone to have a natural dislike for life? Simply put can a person feel naturally unhappy with life and not be categorized as having some sort of disorder. It's almost like saying that everyone must naturally conform to "this" (happy) behavior or else there's something wrong with you.

Answer:
Yes, exactly. I can't stand it when people try to cheer me up.
Very good question I have pondered similar thoughts and ideas, to absolutely no avail. What I learned is that even though there is hypocrisy in todays society I can find happiness in every day of my life through an activity of some sort, even if as simple as watching a sunset.
I have never considered this, but I do think I might agree with you. I also want to add that I think it's silly the whole world is medicated b/c they think they're depressed. Those fools need to take some responsibility and realize they have a choice when they get up every morning to smile and do the best or to lie down and die. :) That's just my two cents!
I to have a dislike for life. I just get up each morning and do the washing and housework and tend to the family and friends problems and then go to bed at night. Life sucks, it is so boring and so many hassles trying to cope with everyones problems. Yes I have no disorder but I hate life.
We all have a disorder. It's what makes us us. And where did you hit upon the idea that everyone is happy. Hopefully there are moments that you are happy, just as times when you are sad, angry, frightened, etc. There is no norm. I would guess that most people aren't in an emotional state most of the time. They're just busy. It's when people can't play well with others that they get categorized.
The question is, How can you be happy?" and "What will make you happy?"
If you think there is no alternative and no choice, no independent free will to be happy, then it would be normal to accept that life just isn't great.

LIFE in this material realm SUCKS MAJORLY.
You are born in ignorance and go to school and get a job, get a woman, have kids, raise them, retire and then get old and DIE. What is the use of such a stupid and aimless life?

People who conform to the happy behaviour are retarded. They dont get it that they will die anyways so why try so hard?

But then there is Krishna. After billions of lifetimes we may get a chance for human life, and get a chance to ask intelligent questions like, WHO AM I? WHERE DID I COME FROM? WHY AM I SUFFERING? and WHY AM I HERE?

The answers to these questions lie in Krishna, The Supreme Personality of Godhead. The beautiful eternally youthful Supreme Lord, who is transcendental, full of love, bliss.
He is bending in a threefold bending pose, with a smile on His beautiful lips and long, attractive lotus petal like eyes.
He is stronger than the strong, the most famous, the most wealthy, the most renounced and the most merciful.
He has many names like Krishna, Govinda, Shyamasundar, and Gopinath.
He expands Himself into billions of forms for the pleasure of His devotees. People call Him Allah, Buddha, Rama, and Jehovah. They call Him Isa and they call Him God.
There is no way to be "naturally" unhappy without our society putting you in a catagory. My husband is "naturally" unhappy but there's no way of convincing anyone anywhere that he is just that way. It's comfortable for him, its what he knows. It doesn't prevent him from doing things or helping others. He is truely a wonderful person-but he is just not happy.
