Does anyone have any thoughts on the over prescription of drugs?
Teens and adults both have an overwhelming increase in medications (psychiatric). I think this is primarily driven by industry and not by etiology. What are your thoughts?

At one point I used to be on many meds. I found they didn't work for me. So I stopped taking them. If a doctor whatever kind of doctor prescribes something. And I feel I gave it a shot but see no improvement. I stop taking them. No matter what the doctor may say.
Yes, they can be over-prescibed but many people really need them and if they were difficult to get would really suffer. There is good success in therapy a lot of times but people are sometimes afraid to see a therapist. There is also promise in the use of Neuro-biofeedback, especially for ADD/ADHD. Hopefully that will reduce the number of people on stimulant drugs in the near future.
