What lessons in life have been the most difficult for you to learn? Why?

Answer:
Honesty within myself
Looking at the whole situation and not seeing only what pleases me
Not that any one lesson was difficult to learn, but I did learn from all of the lessons. Personally, "change" is my biggest culprit, things change everyday, we get older, parents get older, our children get older, time waits for no one and the sun continues to rise and set, the stars continue to shine and time ticks on. Life is one big lesson and hopefully in the end the lesson needed to pass on will have been learned. God Bless.
I found it difficult to learn that I could only rely on myself. I always waited for someone else to take over and get things done for me. Unfortunately in doing that I've wasted a lot of time, and I haven't gone very far.
