Do dreams really help us figure out what is stressing us?

I have dreams, sometimes, that my teeth are falling out and I can't do anything to stop it:( wah!

Answer:
yes...in a way they do...but you have to listen to what they are saying...usually i have found that teeth falling out means you want to do or specifically say something...but are keeping your mouth closed and not letting the words get out...so you may want to look at the situation and see where this is happening and try to deal with it a little more...just a hint
i have dream that my teeth fall out too and i told my mom about it and she said it mean bad luck. something bad is going to happen. so, she told me to get rid of it, i should go to a mirror and stick my butt out at it, to scare away the bad luck. :) but who know.
Yes I think we weave the daily stresses into our dreams at night. Its another way to relieve some of the worries that may otherwise drive us crazy. Dreams may not actually help solve a problem, but its a way to vent frustration or excitement.
This has to do with gossiping. Do you feel guilty for being a gossip, by any chance? Maybe your subconscious is telling you that you need to learn to keep quiet about personal matters, especially other people's personal matters.
