How to kill a therapist?
Answer:
Building off of Issle K (spelling?), how about the therapist is planning on killing one of her hallucinations (she thinks the hallucination is real person) and mixes up a poisoned drink for the hallucination. During the "conversation", the therapist unknowingly drinks the poisoned concoction.
Hang herself.. od.. choke on paperclips..

Since she hears voices in her head, maybe you can have her "accidentally" kill herself while trying to kill someone else. Does she hallucinate? If she does you can have her stab the hallucination to death, and then something tells her that that was the wrong thing to do and she failed, so she becomes sad and stabs herself.

Total nut job goes for a dramatic exit wrist slit in the bathtub fully clothed bottle of pills and a fifth of vodka fully with water still running police see water leaking and find her. Maybe a suicide note on the sink
That sounds like someone crazy
I've been a therapist/psychologist for 2 years now and find this stunning and tragic. I can't imagine how something like this could happen. I remember hearing among my colleagues that Dr. Phil, who is technically as phony as Dr. Laura, had once sexually abused a patient and paid her off so that she would keep quiet about it. In this case, a few bad apples can't ruin the whole orchard. Too many of us actually WANT to help.
I guess it "takes all kinds."
