I'm paranoid about stalkers/killers in my house..what's my condition and what can I do aside from going to doc

I asked this question a long time ago, but no one had the right answer, but now I'm asking again cause it bugs me. Someone said that my brain mistakes my own presence as someone else, and I think that might be it, cause whenever I'm laying down and I feel someone there, I concentrate and find that the person I felt was there was my feet.yet I still feel like someone is there.

To describe what it's like.it doesn't happen often, maybe once a day or something. Whether it'd be sitting, laying down, standing, whatever, sometimes I feel like someone's standing to the sides or behind me. I don't hear/see anything, but I get a really strong feeling that someone is there.
After experiencing this, I walk along the walls of my house, side stepping so that I can see in both directions with my periphials.

I'm 13, and I do watch scary movies, but I know that's not it since after scary movies, I picture the scary image in my head, rather than the paranoid shadow image I get radomly

Answer:
wow that's a tough one. but i seriously recomend telling your parents about it.
hehe wussy.., get a girlfriend maybe she can protect you...lol
Sorry to say, I haven't a clue, but you explained your feelings very well, and I was able to almost feel what you're talking about. I don't have any good advice except that telling someone you respect and trust might help. Good luck with this!
Why the fear about Doctors? If you've asked this question before, but didn't like the answers, what are you looking for exactly?

We can't give you a "diagnosis" over YA, & then recommend a teatment!

You have to be mature about this, and you've already passed step one - you have identified that something is wrong. Now, you need to tell someone.

Talk to your parents, if you think they won't understand, or they're not approachable, then speak to your school counsellor, or a teacher who you trust. You must tell an adult what's going on for you, before it's too late!

That adult will probably take you to see a Doctor, because that is the smart & logical thing to do. It could be physical or psychological. It could be something really simple & easy to fix.
You sound pretty smart to me, I don't like taking pills either, and the truth is they can be very damaging. It sounds like anxiety or a mild case of paranoia. Have you been really upset or had something bad happen to you or someone close to you lately? I ask because sometimes our mind plays tricks on us when we are really upset about something. For instance, I lost my job of six years, my dad died, my neighbor blew his head off and my daughter had a emotional breakdown because a friend of hers commited suicide all within a three month time period. I began hearing things and actually feeling people sit next to me, or touch me, but when I turned to look nothing was there. If this is the case with you it will pass, if it isn't then you probably do need to see a doctor, cause it could be something more serious. Sometimes praying to God can help to. : )
i used to have alot of anxiety issues when i was younger like you. i had to sleep with the closet doors closed, a nightlight, and my room was at the end of a long dark hall. i could not sleep with the door open!! the presence of something there were my spirit guides. its nothing evil. just someone watching over you. maybe you are a sensitive person, like me, and receptive to other dimensions. the scary movies dont help. i cant even watch those things anymore. there not healthy to a young impressionable developing mind. lay off the caffeine(soda). drink milk before you go to bed, it has calcium which could calm your nerves. try exercising. at your age, your whole system is going haywire and not only are your hormones running a muck, but the other chemicals in your brain and body and trying to fine tune themselves and adjust to their normal levels. try taking a natural supplement. i used to take melatonin. its natural and induces restful sleep. talk to your parents. my son is 17.5 years old and i remember him having the same issues. he still does experience high anxiety at times. you should grow out of it-unless it runs in your family like it does mine. good luck.
Go see a doctor and stop watching scary movies!
stop drinking caffeine and other thinks that make you nervous.
It sounds like paranoid schizophrenia. Check out this mental health site to get some background information. You should see a doctor to be sure. You will feel relieved once you aren't dealing with this.
