Anyone who has taken LSD, did it change your life? If so, for better or for worse?

Just leave your story of how LSD affected YOUR life.

For those who have not taken it, feel free to use your time rambling of how it makes your brain bleed, or that if you take it 7 times your legally insane, or any more propaganda youve learned from school and your moms.

Answer:
it changed my life to the point where i think i'm astroboy and i spiral through space in darkness. Wheather for better or worse, who really knows. has drugs made anybody's life better?
And no, it doesn't make you legally insane. That still comes from bad parenting.
I don't think enough people will answer to really make this a good judge of LSD's potential. They are just now starting to re-open research on psychadelic drugs, also there are some good books on the subject, try raiding your local book store or talk to some of your friends in person, good luck.
I used to take acid regularly, about once a week, for about a year. This was when I was sixteen to seventeen years old. I must say, any signifigant positive effects happened in the first two times... It is hard to say whether I would be better off without those experiences. The effects of taking so much as I did lasted about a year after I stopped. I was scared that I would never feel right again. I do not recomend regular use. If you feel compelled to try it, follow your inner voice. Best of luck, and hope your experiences are better than mine were.
I haven't taken it personally, but my old boyfriend used to do loads of LSD. It basically ruined my life at that point because he bored me to death telling me how much he values being sober because LSD taught him so much about himself and the would and stupid **** like that. If I hear another theory about how the world started and how someone feels as if they witnessed it, I swear to god I'm going to ******* cap myself.

On a positive note, his best friend did loads of LSD as well, and he seemed pretty mellow and nice because of it. He said it made him realize that when you walk around in a mall, you don't talk to anyone but they're RIGHT THERE beside you. Why shouldn't you be?

On THAT note, it made me look like an idiot becaues it seemed as if I was with someone half retarded as he mumbled to people that would walk by and hold doors for slews of people for longer than he should have.
I only did it one time and had a horrible trip. From what I understand, you shouldn't be a high strung person, and do acid. The experience is that. I will never do that stuff again, it scared the crap out of me, IT WAS THE WORST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.
Of the two people I new who took LSD one ended up going insane and another was never able to live a normal life again - by that I mean being a part of the society in the most general sense of the word. It was extremely sad. I still have my friend's drawing she made under the influence of LSD - it is so weird and impressive. I still keep it and when I look at it, it makes me so sad and at the same time reminds me about her story.
And I can't believe wikipedia has such a 'positive' article about LSD when there are so many tragic experiences you can never mend.
It totally changed my life for the better. It opened up my eyes to a whole new world and broadened my spiritual horizons.
