I'm depressed. Job interview didn't go well. Any encouraging statements?

I just came from a job interview. It didn't go very well. I feel really bad coz I know what I can do. But with the way the interviewer made comments regarding the job description and my experience, I suddenly felt I was inadequate. The very skill I'm proud of became the reason of my "inconsistency".

Sigh.

Answer:
Hì. For you to have made it to be interviewed means that you have potential. Even though you feel that your interview did'nt go that well, you must remember that you still have something to offer. Many job applicants are not even called for an interview. They are judged solely on their resume. Those that have the prerequisites for the job or have something to offer are called for an interview..Rather than viewing this as something negative, you should view it as a learning experience. Upon interaction with the interviewers, certain weaknesses of yours were brought to the fore. Take note of what was told to you and devise ways and means to improve on your weaknesses. So, the next time you are called for an interview, these weaknesses won't let you down as you would have by that time improved yourself. The best way forward is to apply for many jobs at one time. That will increase your chances of getting a job. In other words, don't pin your hopes and dreams on just one job. So, don't feel upset. Just work on your weaknesses and persevere. Have faith and believe that by the grace of God you will prosper and be successful. If not today, then surely in time to come you will achieve that which you aspire towards. Wishing Everything Of The Best.. .
Now you know what not to do. In life you make lots of mistakes. So shake it off and try again.
That's not how a Jedi reacts, is it? Life is full of rejections and disappointments. To the degree that you can dust this experience off and move forward to the next one like a real warrior, you'll be fine. Suck up the bad feelings for a while and ask yourself what good can come out of it? What did you learn to take to the next experience? What adjustments need to be made to you and your expectations?

Get through this rather mild distasteful experience like a trooper and you'll be on the road to success (which, btw, is a bit bumpy at times).
=[ Oh no...don't let it get you down. Think of this as a learning experience. Sometimes you have to fail to grow. Use your mistakes and practice with them. It'd be wasteful to mope while you could be bettering yourself. A new opportunity could be awaiting you! Have faith in yourself, and you'll be sure to achieve excellence next time. =] Good luck!
I have left over 40 job applications in the town i live out of that ive probably gotten maybe 5 call backs...none of them serious jobs that im certified in..i know what you are going through ...you just gotta say f*ck em! to be blunt their loss...everyone has bad interviews and eventually you will find a place that will respect your talents and hire you for them.maybe if the type of job you are applying for is something where you can use examples of your talents create a portfolio and bring it with you next time that will show them.

for example im certified in graphic communications ..i went to a trade high school...certified is like the ged form of a college degree..only most graphicplaces dont look at it like that!!i worked on tons of things for police department, to other schools, to high class developments and country clubs around here(no im poor but i live in an area with lots os rich people too)and i still have made my way in the door but i will it just takes time!!

and you arent inadequete...trust me if you were they would have took on look at your resume thrown it out and never call you or give you an interview to begin with ...i know its happened to me..hang in there it will all happen soon enough~good luck!
pick up the pieces and move on .
many job interviews will go by where you might appear to have failed --- but yourday will come --- perseverence is a great thing ( particuraly when the company puts on a 'dud' ) but that out look doesn't help your cause .
not knowing what sort of job you were chasing -- i can't say much more to help --- but one thing you must do is keep your chin up . good luck
