How do you define success?
Really, when do you know you've "made it?" What is that one thing that makes you realize, "ok! I've got it! I'm successful!"??
Answer:
Success for me is doing the will of God. Each and everyone have a purpose in life and I realized that my purpose is to do God's will.
when you achieve what you have set out to achieve
how do u define success? i could write a whole book on this. well to begin being successful u hav to buy a hairy flea and tick infested midget. then take him and groom him at petsmart. buy him a cage and teach him to do all ur work. then u can sit bak while he duz the work and u shall b successful
when you,re consistent and focused in all that you do,when your decisions are reflected off those that you help.success is knowing and doing the right thing regardless of others.
looking back on what u had before-nothing or a little. through it all you have overcome.
yep all of the above for me sucess will be to get in to my next position and doing well at it!
and by all the things you rambled off if you can't realize that your getting along with your parents or what not then you need to wak up!
as well as having a new car how can you not relaize that!
so how can you not tell that you made it?
are you still getting up at 7;30 or 7
do you love what your doing? (one way for that is to ask yourself if i was not getting paid would i still be here?)
ect...
hope this helps
I wonder how many folks ever actually say, OK, now I'm successful. It seems that when you achieve one goal, you still create another one for yourself. I don't believe it's human nature to sit still with one's circumstances--at least not in Western culture. We are programmed to constantly want more, to improve our lives and situations, if not monetarily then, through some other method of control. In other words, it is the rare Westerner that says simply, "I am enough."
I think a definition of success is to be able to be content with what you have, where you are, and who you see when you look in the mirror.
I think it was Dale Carnegie who said
"Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get."
O, you want MY definition?!!
I'd say I've achieved success if I look back at my life and I feel a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction, and have no regrets or remorse, and am ready to go back to The Creator. (Of course I don't mean I have to go there and then, but if I had to, I'd be ready.)
