Why am I so scared? O_o?

I'm 13 and I get scared really easily. I don't make it obvious in front of people, but when I'm alone, I can barely STOP getting scared.. I've watched a few horror movies and they ended up scaring me for a long time... [2 weeks+?] When I was really little, my sister used to scare me a lot.. I guess I just never grew out of it..? I've been having trouble sleeping recently for no particular reason..? Sometimes, I feel scared to have a shower because of the closed space and silence and stuff.. so I put a radio on [I tried to do the same thing for sleeping but the music was keeping me awake..]
And oddly enough.. this is only when I'm inside.. whenever I'm outside.. I'm not scared at all..? Does that make sense o.o?
What can I do to STOP being so scared about everything? [I will NEVER personally talk to some one about it.. They'd laugh their heads off.. because I'm normally the calm and collected person that helps them with their problems...

I am not sure, but you sound to me like a highly sensitive young person. When I was young I loved scary movies, but then I would be really affected by them (and sure vampires did exist!) I am an empathic person, and thought that maybe if you read the links below, you would find yourself in there somewhere? If not, that's ok, too. best wishes

OMG! I have the same EXCACT problem!! Try to think about logic, and how unrealistic your fears are.Try to remember horror films are fake, and it was made out of someones imagination. Hang out outside,or call a friend,thats what i do.And as a last resort, try some therapy, it sounds dumb but it will help u get over ur fear.Plus remember that god is always watching you.He'll take care of you.
YOU SHOULD TRY GETTING HELP NO ONE WOULD LAUGH AT YOU FOR BEING SCRAED THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT FEEL JUST LIKE YOU
Sounds like you may be developing an anxiety issue, if this goes untreated it could worsen. It is common to develop acute anxiety attacks. It is much easier to stop this in its early development than to reverse it later. You should consider seeing a mental health professional that specializes in treatment for anxiety.
