Do you lie to your Mother?

I heard some D.J.s talking on the radio and they were talking about how the person we all statistically lie to the most- is our mothers.

Do you agree with this finding?

Answer:
I agree. If you think about it, a mother spends the most time with her children. It it inevitable that we all ( at one time or another) will lie to out parental units. Since mothers are always around, they get lied to the most. Sorry Mommy!
it depends on the kid.
Agree with it, done it, and witnessed it thousands of times.
I don't see a point in lying to anyone. The truth will set you free and all that some such.
I could see how that would be true. This would fall in line with another question of "Who would we be most concerned with disappointing".
This is an interesting one. Well, I'd say it's highly likely as in most cases, the person we try to impress most, the person we most want to stay in good graces with is our mothers. I don't know, maybe it's cause she was the first person to know us as we were in her womb before coming into this world. So yah. I'd agree... I lie to my mom often... tis bad, I know... but I do. I don't want her on my back, I don't want to worry her, and I do not want to dissappoint her.
Nope. i have never lied to my mom.. i don't need to
she trusts me
I used to lie to her when I was younger. I used to be afraid if she finds out I did bad in a test, cause she'll chop my head. I stopped lying not just to my mom but to anyone.
Of course she is the one that would hurt me if she knew the truth, so as a means for survival of a closed minded, unrealistic, tyrant how could I not.
That depends. That's assuming alot about how people are raised. I, myself, had my mother die at a young age. She wasn't there to lie to! That's not to say I wouldn't have lied to her if she was, I probably would. But I'd say the reason we lie most to our mothers because that is the person that's most up in our business. If our mothers knew the whole truth all the time there'd be a problem with that. The mothers are mostly the rule makers so I think it'd be most worthwhile to lie to them if you break one...
You have to talk to your mother on a regular basis to lie to her anyway, so my answer is NO.
I don't have to lie, she can't even handle the truth!
You would think that Mom would like to see her grandchild. Natural right? Nope.
I do renovations for a living, but do you think they would ever ask me to help when re-doing their place? Nope. They've overpaid for bad and untimely jobs from other contractors.

Maybe that's the problem, I need to shoot her a few good ones to get some attention!(lol!)
sometimes, but only white lies...
Yeah it is probably true, but for some reason she always seems to know when I am lying. Must be pshycic
