How can I teach myself to be a lucid dreamer?
Answer:
Well, a method I try sometimes (I can usually be lucid naturally, but sometimes I need a little help) is: go to bed, and put the alarm clock on for five hours' time. Then, after you've woken up, think about how you want to lucid dream, what you want to do, maybe go to a lucid dreaming website - basically, fill your head with lucid dreaming - then go back to sleep. It's much easier to be lucid when you sleep lightly (like it always is after you go back to sleep). I've also heard that recording your dreams and becoming "dream aware" (that is, while you're awake, notice all the things that make life real, so when you're dreaming you can notice if these things are different) help too.
Do drugs.
I DO IT ALL THE TIME. NEVER TAUGHT MYSELF IT JUST HAPPENED. I LOVE IT.
