Who got a phobia of getting late to work?

in relation to alarm clocks, frequent wake ups , etc..

My husband used to & he would bolt out of bed in the middle of the night! It would terrify me when it was happening but he over the years he learned to relax & now it only happens about once a year. It could be a lot of stress or nervousness. Take deep breaths & maybe listen to calming music before going to sleep. Get an alarm clock with dual alarms & set one 15 minutes after the original. Maybe get an alarm clock from www.thinkgeek.com - they have one that if you press snooze it gets up & rolls away. They have a few others - one even that shakes the bed! It's probably just nerves - make sure you know that you can't sleep in & keep the same routine everyday so your body knows what to expect.
I hate to arrive late to anything...I arrive at work 1 hour before my scheduled start time.
I used to until I heard one time in a report that that was a way to get attention. Then I realized I didn't want that kind of attention. It is also very irresponsible. Also it is much less stressful to be early.
Yep. It gets worse than 2 or 3 alarms. I can no longer can trust multiple alarms. After all, tne electricity could go off, the back-up batteries could suddenly be dead. I switched to working nights so I wont be working for bunches of hours before work.
Sounds like you're a little OCD too..
