Why animals have sixth sense? why not humans?

Humans do have a sixth sense, but we too often ignore it, because it gets drowned out by the overwhelming amount of stimulii that surrounds us. Animals, with no Ipods, TVs, cell phones, automobiles, or aural pollution, can and do pay attention to their sixth sense.

I think humans have a sixth sense. It is called intuition.
It's not so much that animals have a sixth sense as that they have other sense that are further enhanced. Such as the cancer smelling dog, or animals that freak out before an earthquake. They hear, smell, feel things before humans and therefore give us the impression that they have a sixth sense.

except that humans.. we have good brain.. and lot of stuff to think about.. tat we totally forget about it and we dont have any means to develop it
for example.. we may not have to sense that... some other country is going to attack us.. we have military for that..
we may not worry that someone is going to come and cut out our throat.. we have cops for that..
so when we are babies.. we dont have to worry about food or anything... we have parents for that...
so with all the spoonfeeding... we tend to lose the power...
but still sometimes, we do sense sme things and they do happen ;)
While scientists have found no proof that animals have a 6th sense, I know what you are talking about. And I think, that at some point, we did. But as time went on we evolved out of it. We used tools, and technology and lost the grasp we once had with our surroundings.
God/ evolution works in a perfectly reasonable but mysterious way... i think its to preserve the life of every being. i like the fact that fishes have a lateral line while humans just have skin... im pushing for compassion to be considered a sixth sense, but hearing that said from a male doesnt get to many audiences
I think that most higher evolved animals - including people, dogs, elephants have the 6th sence and it helps with survival Not bugs and less evolved life forms.
I think people do, some are more receptive than others. Fear of you're 6th sence can make you less aware of it - it doesn't mean you don't have it
humans have the senses of taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing, and proprioception. so humans DO have 6 senses. my guess is you are unfamiliar with the last one. It is the sense of our body and position. Such as: turn your head to the right, can you see in your mind where your left hand is? that is proprioception.

The ordinary senses of some mammals and reptiles are more acute than ours. Their ability to sense approaching people can seem uncanny, but it is just because we can't imagine how acute their sense of smell and hearing can be.
