Anger Managment!!?
Anger management?
I am a teenager, and somethings have happened lately that have made me SO unbeleivably angry and I keep it inside of me but I feel like going crazy. I think I should do something about it. But I don't know if my parents would think its a good idea, they will just say that I don't have anger and need to see someone. I don't know what to do.. How do I tell them I need to see someone about it? I can't go to a school concellor because I don't go to school anymore, ( TAFE ).
Thanks.
Answer:
If you can't go to school because of something and if you feel that you can't tell your parents about it; next thing you could do is tell your friends about it.
Friends would understand your feelings, for they are nearer your age.
If Friends won't do, you could go have a break; go to a great place alone or with someone, and enjoy it to your best!
Whenever I am really stressed, I go to the mall and do all the things I want to do. But with that, I have a great risk; 'cause I usually use up all my money.
Nevertheless, the feeling is really great.
If you don't want to do it, write it in your journal, or online blog. Or tell anyone about it!
Let's say, you could tell me, if you want to.]
Just by sharing your burden, it would lessen a little bit, because I'll help you carry it. It's the same with anyone you'd be telling.
Remember, when you're going to tell it to someone, make sure that this person has a great listening skill; because you wouldn't want this person to listen half-heartedly.
Smile.
there should be a list of anger managment in your area but they do charge money call them up go in 4 a visit
Just tell them you need to talk to an expert about your problem. Nothing wrong, if they care about you, I'm sure about that, explain what you feel and why. If you discuss with them first about your feelings you probably get the answers you want. And if nothing happens then see a family counselor.
elle, Anger usually stems from not being articulate, and lashing out is the only way that someone can express themselves.
In your case, you are bottling it up like a pressure cooker, you won't be able to keep a lid on the anger for much longer, so move yourself.
Join a public speaking group, or learn a higher degree in English. If you can get your point of view across you are half way there. Words are a very powerful tool in conquering anger management.
If you feel that your anger is really out of control, if it is having an impact on your relationships and on important parts of your life, you might consider counseling to learn how to handle it better. A psychologist or other licensed mental health professional can work with you in developing a range of techniques for changing your thinking and your behavior.
There's no other better way of telling your parents about how you feel than simply telling them of how you really feel. Direct and honest as it is. Perhaps setting an schedule for an open discussion with them explaining what are you going thru at the moment will be a good practice.
