You can find something intriguing and not be attracted to it. I think for the most part, it's that the penis is usually only seen as a sexual organ and anything having to do with sex is arousing (at least for me it is). You shouldn't be worried about the why of something exciting you, just the fact that it is exciting and using that to the best of your ability.

1) Many gay men don't like to kiss or cuddle. It is thier fascination with the penis that attracts them to other men.

3) I think that our society puts too many labels on sex. Whatever pleases you, fine. If looking at pictures of naked men pleases you, but you don't want to be with a man, fine. Why feel the need to explain it or label it? It's legal, it's fun, do it.
