Why do we dream? and what arethey all about?

Answer:
We dream due to our common sense therefore our dreams are products of how we make sense of things.
dreaming is natures way of solving our problems that we can't do during the day while we are awake.what we experience in our dreams are just symbols. they don't really mean a whole lot. when someone says i dreamt this last night what does it mean? analize it for me that's hard to do because the same symbol means different things to different people. only the person dreaming can interprete the real meaning behind their dreams
Imagine you work in an office. You are so busy all day answering the phone and going to meetings that you dont have any time to file the paperwork and take the outgoing mail down to the post office. All your brain is doing while you are asleep is the filing. It's no big deal.
Its your sub concious trying to give messages to your concious mind. the problem is the language used, the subconcious only has symbols to communicate and thus the mundane mind (concious) finds this confusing. In fact dreams are clear because with our eyes shut and at the sleeping moment our concious goes on standby and the sub concious mind can report all its results without the concious butting in. This is the weakness of ego1
